Christ Renews His Parish or CRHP (pronounced “chirp”) is a spiritual renewal process which brings adult parishioners together in small groups in order to deepen their relationship with Christ and each other. Since its beginning in 1969 in Parma, OH, Christ Renews His Parish has proven to be an effective instrument for spiritual growth in hundreds of parishes across the country.

When is CRHP?
Men’s Weekend Dates: April 5-6, 2008
Women’s Weekend Dates: March 1-2, 2008

What Happens on a CRHP Weekend?
The substance of the weekend is the presentation of personal stories in which individuals share their faith with you. Group discussion and response are invited following each presentation, along with scripture sharing, and the celebration of the Sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation.

When and Where do These Weekends Take Place?
CRHP hosts four weekends a year - two for men and two for women - at St. John Neumann.

Who Conducts the Weekend?
The renewal team is comprised of a Spiritual Director and parishioners who have attended the previous weekend.

How Long is the Weekend?
The weekend begins at 8:00am Saturday and concludes by 4:00pm on Sunday.

Where Will I Sleep?
Sleeping accommodations are in the classrooms downstairs at St. John Neumann. Mattresses are provided and you are asked to bring your pillow, blankets or sleeping bag.

What About the Meals?
You will be pampered with great meals and snacks provided by the the parish. If you have a special diet, please let us know when you register so we will be able to provide for your needs.

What Should I Wear?
Casual and comfortable clothes are appropriate for both Saturday and Sunday.

What Does CRHP Cost?
There is no charge for attending the renewal weekend.

Who May Attend?
Any registered parishioner of St. John Neumann who is a Catholic and 18 years or older may participate in the renewal weekend.
